7. Planning
a) The following motion is put forward for consideration proposed by Councillor Little and seconded by Councillor Warren.
1. Willand Parish Council requests that Mid Devon District Council formally consults with Willand Parish Council and Uffculme Parish Council about all planning applications made in the area of Halberton Parish east of the M5.
2. Willand Parish Council asks our District Councillors actively to support this proposal.

8. Progress Reports for information
The order had been placed with DCC for the VAS system for Silver Street
Cemetery works the Clerk and Vice Chair had met with the contractor and discussed the work needed to be completed. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the next report will be delayed.

10. Neighbourhood Plan
There is no update at this time.

i) Request for funding support from Mid Devon Mobility, email circulated 14 December
ii) Request from DCT to complete a survey around the Climate Emergency to be completed by 15 January
iii) In light of the information from London Hearts regarding purchasing defibrillators to discuss whether the village would benefit from another and possible locations. There are 3 at the moment one outside PenCarrie on the industrial site, one outside the pre school building and one outside the post office.
